Delete your Study Streak account

You can delete your account and all your study data at any time. Here's how, and exactly what goes.

Two ways to delete it

In the app Fastest

  1. Open Study Streak and go to Profile.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Tap Delete to confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately.

By email

  1. From the email address on your account, write to studystreakdev@gmail.com.
  2. Use the subject Delete my Study Streak account.

We'll delete your account within 30 days and reply to confirm. Use this if you no longer have the app.

Before you delete

Cancel Pro in Google Play first. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Google Play subscription. Open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, Study Streak, Cancel.

Want to keep a record? Export your study sessions as a CSV file from Profile, then Export data. Deletion can't be undone.

What happens to your data

Deleted

  • Your account: email address, password hash, name, level of study, avatar and settings
  • All your subjects, study sessions and exams, and the streaks worked out from them
  • Your Pro status on our servers

Anyone signed in to your account on a phone is signed out.

Kept

  • Purchase records held by Google Play and RevenueCat, which they keep for accounting and tax under their own policies.
  • Server logs, which may include your IP address, kept briefly for security and then removed.

Delete some data, keep your account

  • A subject: deleting it also deletes all its sessions and exams.
  • A session: delete it from the subject's history.
  • An exam: delete it from the exam's page.
